Our client is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a 60-day assignment in Illinois, commencing Aug 3, 2026. This critical locum tenens opportunity requires a Physician to provide essential coverage as a Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist within a high-acuity pediatric program. Responsibilities include managing a diverse range of pediatric anesthesia cases, specifically encompassing cardiac and congenital heart surgeries, ensuring comprehensive patient care.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide coverage as a Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist for a high-acuity pediatric program
  • Perform the full scope of pediatric anesthesiology cases, including pediatric general anesthesia
  • Manage pediatric cardiac anesthesia cases
  • Conduct congenital heart surgery cases
  • Oversee cardiopulmonary bypass (pump) cases
  • Execute cardiac catheterization lab procedures
  • Handle additional pediatric surgical and procedural anesthesia as needed
