Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our client in Florida for a 100-day assignment starting Aug 3, 2026. This role involves providing care in a Pediatric Trauma center with operating rooms, managing a mix of healthy and complex pediatric cases including general surgery, ortho, GU, ENT, and dental. The schedule will include a 60/40 covering to solo ratio with medical direction in a 2:1 model.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care within a Pediatric Trauma facility featuring operating rooms.
  • Cross-credential at multiple sites.
  • Manage an initial caseload of easy, healthy pediatric cases, progressing to increasing complexity as appropriate.
  • Opportunity to include pediatric heart cases if comfortable with cath/EP, excluding liver/multivisceral transplants.
  • Care for approximately 60% sick and 40% healthy pediatric patients.
  • Handle majority case types including General Surgery, Ortho, Genitourinary (GU), Otolaryngology (ENT), and Dental.
  • Perform required procedures such as IV placement; regional procedures are welcome if comfortable but not required.
  • Participate in a care team model with 2 CRNAs to 1 MD, operating under a 50/50 medically directed supervision ratio.
  • Contribute to an average of 800 cases per month.
