Job Description

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Pediatric Anesthesiology for a 100-day assignment in Florida, commencing on Aug 3, 2026. This role involves providing anesthesiology services for a variety of pediatric cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, genitourinary, ENT, and dental, within a Pediatric Trauma center. The position offers flexible scheduling options, working collaboratively within a care team model.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Be cross credentialed at various Memorial sites to provide comprehensive pediatric anesthesiology services
  • Manage a diverse range of pediatric cases, from initially easy and healthy to increasing complexity as appropriate
  • Perform required procedures including IV placement, and regional procedures if comfortable
  • Cover a mix of sick (60%) and healthy (40%) pediatric patients
  • Collaborate effectively within a care team model, typically with 2 CRNAs to 1 MD
  • Participate in medically directed supervision at a 50/50 ratio
  • Potentially include cath/EP cases if comfortable with pediatric hearts
  • Work within a Pediatric Trauma center featuring operating rooms
