Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon for an 18-day assignment in Iowa, starting Aug 5, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts from 7a-7a, providing comprehensive orthopedic care, including the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of trauma, infections, tumors, deformities, and degenerative diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system across all ages.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform history and physical exams; admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages.
  • Correct or treat various conditions, illnesses, and injuries of the extremities, spine, and associated structures by medical, surgical, and physical means.
  • Manage conditions including, but not limited to, trauma, infections, tumors, metabolic disturbances of the musculoskeletal system, deformities, injuries, and degenerative diseases of the spine, hands, feet, knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow.
  • Address primary and secondary muscular problems and the effects of central or peripheral nervous system lesions of the musculoskeletal system.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery required.
