Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist Oncologist for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in South Carolina, starting Jan 26, 2026. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30am to 4:30pm, focusing on both benign hematology and malignant oncology cases in an engaging clinical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver care with a focus on 65% benign hematology and 35% malignant oncology
  • Participate in Tumor Board meetings
  • Manage bone marrow transplant cases
  • Oversee blood bank activities
  • Order diagnostic tests and imaging
  • Prescribe appropriate treatments
  • Supervise administration of chemotherapy by nurse oncologists


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Medical Oncology is required
  • Active South Carolina license or eligibility to obtain one is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • Clean background required for emergency privileges
  • Current NPDB required for presentation
