Physician - OB/GYN

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician for a 9-day assignment in Ohio, starting Nov 27, 2026. This nocturnal role involves providing comprehensive obstetric care during 7 PM - 7 AM night shifts, including triage, labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum services. The physician will collaborate with certified nurse midwives and support nocturnist responsibilities within a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care during night shifts, including triage, labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum services.
• Collaborate with certified nurse midwives (CNMs) onsite to manage patients, offering support and overseeing practices as needed.
• Provide support for nocturnist responsibilities as required.
• Cover four private practice groups, two of which have CNMs onsite providing 24/7 on-call support.
• Manage an average of 45 deliveries per month.
• Ensure excellent patient care and safety during labor and delivery, adhering to established protocols.
• No GYN call responsibilities; this is covered by the private practice.
• Offer back-up OB on-call support for the private practices.
• Work within a supportive, collaborative team of OB/GYNs, CNMs, and other healthcare professionals.

Additional Information

• Work schedule: Night shifts, 7 PM - 7 AM.
• Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• EMR System: Epic.
• Facility has a Trauma Level I designation.
