Physician - OB/GYN

Job Description

Our client in Nebraska is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a 31-day assignment starting Oct 16, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts with a focus on emergency department coverage for precipitous deliveries, both vaginal and C-section, and gynecology call. The physician will diagnose and manage conditions throughout pregnancy and postpartum, performing major and minor abdominal and vaginal surgical procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Be on-call to the emergency department for precipitous deliveries, both vaginal and c-section
• Gynecology call to the emergency department; consultation and treatment as needed
• Diagnosis and management of conditions occurring during pregnancy through postpartum
• Perform major and minor abdominal and vaginal surgical procedures upon the female pelvis and related structures

• Call schedule: 24-hour shifts
