Job Description
We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a 7-day assignment in North Dakota, starting Dec 24, 2024. The schedule involves 24-hour shifts, including comprehensive call responsibilities, patient rounding, managing deliveries, and providing urgent ER care. This role focuses on essential obstetrics and gynecology procedures such as vaginal deliveries, C-sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, bladder repairs, and D&Cs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, bladder repairs, and D&Cs
- Manage approximately 50-60 deliveries per month
- Handle 1-3 patient admissions per day
- Provide 24-hour on-call coverage, including rounding on patients and attending deliveries
- Respond to urgent cases in the Emergency Room
Additional Information
- Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Work Setting: Inpatient
- EMR Experience: Meditech, Dragon, PACs, eRx - Dr. First, Imprivata Tap and Go
- Call Schedule: Out of House Call
- Patient Volume: 50-60 deliveries per month; 1-3 admissions per day
- LOA: 7 days
