Job Description

We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a 90-day assignment in Virginia, starting Jun 10, 2026. This role involves 8a-4p shifts, focusing on comprehensive labor and delivery procedures, including vaginal and C-section deliveries, and managing a variety of obstetric cases such as low-risk pregnancies and FHR interpretation. Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to contribute to their team.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform routine vaginal deliveries.
  • Perform low forceps deliveries.
  • Make decisions for C-sections.
  • Manage complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions.
  • Perform VBACs.
  • Repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations.
  • Manage low-risk pregnancies, including those with a history of twins, toxemia, or pyelonephritis.
  • Interpret FHR, including NST/CST/FSE.
  • Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds, including Level I/screening (viability).
  • Review scans completed by seasoned technicians for provider reads.
