Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 60-day assignment in Virginia, starting Jun 8, 2026. The role involves managing a patient schedule during office hours from 8 AM to 4 PM, complemented by 24-hour weekday call. This physician will handle a broad scope of duties, including low-risk pregnancy procedures, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, various labor and delivery procedures such as routine and complicated vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and VBACs, alongside comprehensive office, minor, and major surgical gynecology procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform required obstetrics procedures including low-risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation using NST/CST/FSE, and performance or interpretation of OB ultrasounds.
  • Conduct routine vaginal deliveries, manage complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, and multiple births, and perform VBACs.
  • Execute repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations.
  • Provide office and minor gynecology procedures such as IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP.
  • Perform surgical gynecology procedures, including open and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor operations like tubal ligation, LOAs, and chromal tubation.
  • Undertake operative/major surgical gynecology procedures, encompassing ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOAs.
