Job Description

We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 2-day assignment in Ohio, beginning May 15, 2026. This role involves providing 24-hour shift coverage, focusing on managing a diverse range of responsibilities from routine and complicated vaginal deliveries, low forceps deliveries, and C-sections to performing OB ultrasounds and repairing 3rd and 4th degree lacerations, while also handling occasional high-risk deliveries.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries.
  • Make decisions regarding C-sections.
  • Manage complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech births, multiple births, and abruptions.
  • Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
  • Perform OB ultrasounds.
  • Handle occasional high-risk deliveries, typically referring complex cases to tertiary centers.
  • Manage approximately one delivery per day (around 360 births per year).
  • No VBACs.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
  • EMR System: Meditech EHR.
