Job Description

Our client in Ohio is seeking an experienced Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 30-day assignment starting Aug 17, 2026. This role involves 12 or 24-hour shifts, covering routine and complicated obstetrics procedures including low and high-risk pregnancies, FHR interpretation, and a range of labor and delivery procedures such as vaginal, C-section, breech, and multiple births, alongside VBACs and laceration repair.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform required Obstetrics Procedures, including Low Risk Pregnancy (e.g., History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis).
  • Manage High Risk Pregnancy cases (e.g., with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease).
  • Conduct FHR Interpretation – NST/CST/FSE.
  • Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds, including Level II/Targeted (Anatomic) and Level I/Screening (Viability).
  • Execute Labor and Delivery Required Procedures, such as Routine Vaginal Delivery and Low Forceps.
  • Make informed Decision-Making for C-Section.
  • Handle Complicated Delivery scenarios, including C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, and VBACs.
  • Perform Repair of 3rd and 4th Degree Lacerations.


Additional Information
