Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 42-day assignment in Ohio, commencing Apr 6, 2026. This nocturnal position is crucial for providing comprehensive coverage for obstetric services during overnight shifts. Responsibilities include collaborating with certified nurse midwives, managing labor and delivery, triage, antepartum, and postpartum care, and overseeing various private practice groups.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Join the nocturnal team and provide comprehensive coverage for obstetric services during the overnight shift.
  • Collaborate with certified nurse midwives (CNMs) for patient management, including support and oversight.
  • Manage labor and delivery (L&D), triage, antepartum, and postpartum care.
  • Provide support for nocturnist responsibilities.
  • Cover four private practice groups, two of which have CNMs onsite providing 24/7 on-call support.
  • Manage an average of 45 deliveries per month.
  • Ensure excellent patient care and safety during labor and delivery, adhering to established protocols.
