Job Description

Our client in Michigan is actively seeking a skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 60-day assignment starting Oct 1, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm schedule, focusing on comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology procedures including managing low and high-risk pregnancies, various delivery types, and surgical interventions such as ectopic pregnancy and ovary removal.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage low risk pregnancies, including cases with a history of twins, toxemia, or pyelonephritis.
  • Oversee high risk pregnancies, such as those with toxemia, diabetes, cardiac conditions, chronic lung problems, or chronic renal disease.
  • Perform routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps deliveries, and make decisions for C-sections.
  • Conduct complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, and abruptions.
  • Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
  • Manage ectopic pregnancies.
  • Perform ovary removal and cystectomy procedures.
  • Handle extensive LOA’s.
