Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 6-week locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Nov 27, 2025. This opportunity features 24-hour in-house shifts, including coverage on select dates in November and December, with additional sporadic dates as needed. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience and hold a current Michigan license. This role involves both obstetric and gynecologic care, including elective induction of labor and collaboration with in-house neonatology for cases at 32 weeks gestation or beyond.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage labor and delivery, including elective induction with Pitocin
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care during shifts
  • Deliver patients at 32 weeks gestation or later with in-house neonatologist consultation
  • Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies as needed
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Obstetrics/Gynecology required
  • Michigan state medical license required (candidates must already hold a valid license)
  • ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
