Our client in ME is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for an 85-day assignment, beginning Jun 22, 2026. This dynamic role involves clinic responsibilities Monday through Friday, including dedicated OR days, alongside comprehensive 24/7 call duties. The Physician will manage a varied caseload of new and follow-up patients, perform GYN and OB procedures, handle deliveries, and provide consultations, with a 30-minute response time for out-of-house call.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage a full scope of clinic and 24/7 call Obstetrics and Gynecology cases.
Conduct clinic hours Monday - Thursday from 8am - 4:30pm, and Friday from 8am - 12pm.
Provide 24/7 call coverage, including during clinic hours, weeknights, and weekends.
Maintain a 30-minute response time for out-of-house call.
Perform procedures on dedicated OR Tuesdays, with a return to clinic post-OR.
Alternate between weeks of clinic with call and weeks of clinic only when working multiple weeks.
Manage a mix of new and follow-up GYN and OB appointments in clinic.
Perform procedures such as Leap, IUDs, pessary maintenance and insertion, and Nexplanon insertions.
Handle C-section deliveries and consults with Family Medicine physicians on deliveries.
Execute OR cases including hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, DNCs, and hysteroscopys.
Additional Information
Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
Experience with Meditech EHR is preferred.
