Job Description

Our client in Colorado is actively seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 265-day assignment, commencing Aug 3, 2026. This full-time role involves a 40-hour work week with 8-hour day shifts, where you will deliver high-quality, patient-centric care. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient management, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Function independently to provide high-quality, collaborative, and patient-centric care.
  • Deliver care across various settings and modalities, including direct patient interaction in hospital or clinic, and via telephone, video, or secure email.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history gathering, physical examinations, and review of records and ancillary data, applying sound judgment and critical problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and monitor appropriate treatment plans, ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and the care team.
  • Provide efficient and compassionate care, utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach to foster communication, continuity, coordination, and evaluation.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members, leadership, and medical staff to ensure safe patient care and communicate pertinent findings.
  • Assist collaborating physicians with patient management in the hospital, adhering to facility policies, regulations, and approved scope of practice.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and practice metrics, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of the facility.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Be prepared for potential floating to other departments (within scope of competency) or on-call shifts as needed.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
  • Proficiency in Endometrial Biopsy, IUD inserts and removals, Nexplanon insert and removals, Hysteroscopies, Colposcopies, and LEEP.
