Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in neurodevelopmental disorders for a locum tenens position in New Mexico. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct clinical evaluations for autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and learning disabilities
  • Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessment tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, cognitive assessments, adaptive functioning scales, and behavioral rating scales
  • Integrate information from interviews, observations, documents, and collateral reports to inform diagnostic conclusions
  • Prepare comprehensive, legally compliant evaluation reports with findings, diagnostic impressions, and actionable recommendations
  • Participate in ongoing feedback and process improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with best practices and legal mandates related to neurodevelopmental disorders and assessment


Additional Information

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology required
  • Active licensure and ability to conduct clinical evaluations in all PsyPact states
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in assessing and diagnosing neurodevelopmental disorders, with significant experience in autism spectrum disorder
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting gold-standard diagnostic instruments for ASD
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, psychopathology, and neurodivergence in adolescents and adults
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to cultural competence, equity, and inclusive practices
