Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified, licensed OB/GYN Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, runs for 48 weeks, and offers 24-hour in-house shifts, approximately 5 to 7 shifts per month. Join a respected, Baby-Friendly health system with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit staffed by board-certified neonatologists.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care as an OB/GYN Hospitalist
  • Manage labor and delivery cases, including high-risk pregnancies
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including board-certified neonatologists in the level III NICU
  • Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
  • Participate in hospital-based rounds and consultations
  • Ensure adherence to Baby-Friendly hospital protocols and standards


Additional Information

  • Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology required
  • Must possess a current California medical license
  • Current AHA certification in CPR required
