 Wellhart is seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) specializing in OB/GYN for a 60-day locum tenens position at a hospital in Colorado. The assignment begins on 10/20/2025, with a varied schedule including clinic days and hospital coverage. The CNM will be responsible for managing both low and high-risk pregnancies, performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds, handling routine and complicated deliveries, and providing a range of gynecological services. This comprehensive role requires expertise in obstetrics, labor and delivery, and office-based gynecological procedures, offering a diverse and challenging opportunity for an experienced midwife.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies

• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I/screening)

• Conduct fetal heart rate monitoring and interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)

• Handle routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal births and C-section decision-making

• Assist with complicated deliveries such as breech and multiple births

• Repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations

• Provide office-based gynecological services (IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP)

• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using the Epic electronic health record system

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards of care


Additional Information:

• Colorado state license required

• Experience in both low and high-risk obstetrics preferred

• Proficiency in gynecological procedures essential

• Strong communication and teamwork skills necessary
