Job Description
Our client in Montana is seeking a skilled Nephrology Physician for a 36-day assignment. This role involves providing culturally informed outpatient care to the Native American population, focusing on individualized, goal-oriented nephrological care for adult patients. The schedule is three consecutive days per month, working 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide culturally informed outpatient care to the Native American population served by the Blackfeet Service Unit.
- Exercise knowledge of medical procedures and their application to clinical practices in order to provide individualized, goal-oriented nephrological care to the adult patient.
- Exercise knowledge of scientific and psychosocial medical theory, principles, practices, and techniques in order to plan and provide quality medical care which meets the physical, spiritual, and social-cultural needs of the Native American/Alaskan Native patient.
- Exercise knowledge of biological aspects of disease processes and illness in order to recognize complications and implement appropriate therapeutic intervention required.
