Medical Physicist - PA

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Physicist for a 60-day assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing Aug 31, 2026. This role involves providing essential clinical physics support, encompassing regular quality assurance, dosimetry calibration of radiation therapy equipment, and the implementation of advanced techniques such as IMRT, SBRT, 4D CT, and gated radiation therapy, with a consistent Monday-Friday, 8a-5p schedule.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct regular quality assurance testing and dosimetry calibration of radiation therapy equipment.
• Perform dosimetry and clinical implementation of intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), SBRT, and 4D CT.
• Implement gated radiation therapy and prostate seed implant procedures.
• Contribute to expanding the clinical physics program, emphasizing SBRT, VMAT, IMRT, IGRT with CBCT/OBI, 4D CT, and organ motion management.
• Function independently while collaborating closely with a team of medical physicists.

Additional Information

• Required: Board certification in Medical Physics (Diagnostic, Nuclear, Therapeutic).
• Required: At least three years of clinical experience.
• Work within an ACRO accredited center equipped with Varian TrueBeam and Clinac iX.
• Utilize Eclipse RTP with Aria R&V system for treatment planning and record verification.
