Job Description

We are actively seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for an 18-day assignment in Virginia, commencing May 8, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive maternal-fetal care, including advanced procedures like amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling, alongside managing a wide spectrum of high-risk pregnancies. Shift hours for this assignment are to be determined.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform Amniocentesis
  • Conduct Chorionic Villus Sampling
  • Execute cerclage procedures (preferred)
  • Manage cases of Pre-Eclampsia and Multiple Pregnancies
  • Address Growth Restriction and Chromosomal Abnormalities
  • Oversee Congenital abnormalities and Pre-term Labor
  • Manage Hypertension and Thrombophilia in pregnant patients
  • Counsel on Genetic Disorders and Birth Defects
  • Facilitate Vaginal Birth and Cesarean Birth
  • Care for any fetal or maternal co-morbidities that classify a pregnancy as high risk
