We are seeking an experienced Mammography Doctor for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in New Jersey, starting Dec 15, 2025. This opportunity features day shifts from 8a-5p, Monday through Friday, with no excess hours and no call. The role involves cross coverage at tertiary care hospitals, focusing on breast biopsy procedures and patient consultations.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform breast biopsies, including image-guided procedures such as ultrasound-guided and stereotactic biopsies
  • Provide thorough consultations to patients regarding procedures, addressing questions and concerns
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to plan and execute interventional procedures
  • Monitor patients post-procedure, manage complications, and provide necessary follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all procedures and patient interactions
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and procedural outcomes
  • Provide cross coverage across three tertiary care hospitals (346-bed, 287-bed, and 202-bed facilities)
