Job Description

We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist Physician for a 2-day assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing Sep 14, 2026. This role involves comprehensive cathlab coverage Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, alongside weeknight and 1:4 weekend call duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing STEMIs, performing cardiac catheterizations, and various interventions, with a preference for those skilled in urgent Acute Pulmonary Emboli procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide cathlab coverage Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.
  • Manage weeknight call coverage from 5 PM to 7 AM, with consideration for 6 PM to 6 AM shifts.
  • Participate in a 1:4 weekend call schedule, Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 7 AM, without rounding duties.
  • Respond to STEMIs, perform cardiac caths, and interventions.
  • Perform urgent Acute Pulmonary Emboli procedures.
  • Conduct patient consultations; hospitalists will manage admissions.
  • Be available for call-ins as needed (staff typically experiences approximately 10 call-ins per month).
