Physician - Interventional Cardiologist

Job Description

We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist in Pennsylvania for a locum tenens assignment with a length of 21 days, starting Oct 1, 2025. This role involves a 24-hour call schedule, primarily covering cath lab procedures and inpatient rounding, with night and weekend call responsibilities.

Job Details

• Provider Type Needed: Interventional Cardiologist
• Schedule: Covering cath lab 8a-5p, night call 5p-8a, and weekend call with inpatient rounding. Estimated 7 shifts per month.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Start call at 0800, perform outpatient and inpatient catheterizations, and provide STEMI coverage.
• Manage only STEMI patients admitted during the 7 days of work.
• Collaborate with a Nurse Practitioner during daylight hours and APP coverage on weekends to assist with discharges for IC/NIC/EP patients.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology required.
• Active Pennsylvania license and DEA certification are highly preferred.
• Certifications needed: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience with EMR systems such as Cerner and Epic.
