Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join our client in Kentucky for a 30-day assignment, beginning Apr 13, 2026. This Physician will manage 24-hour shifts, responding to all cardiology calls, performing general cardiology consults, and interpreting various studies, including EKG, ECHOs, and stress tests. The role also encompasses performing advanced procedures such as balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasties, and heart catheterizations.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Expected to respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital
  • Perform General Cardiology consults as needed
  • Read Studies to include EKG, ECHOS, and Stress tests (including nuclear stress)
  • Perform Balloon Angioplasties
  • Perform Coronary Angioplasty
  • Perform Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  • Perform Heart Catheterization
  • Perform Coronary Angiograms


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology required.
  • EMR: Epic.
