Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician Assistant to join our client's team in Connecticut. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care services within a standard 8 AM to 5 PM weekday schedule. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, contributing to a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and formulate treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Additional Information
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine is required.
  • This is an outpatient clinic setting.
  • There are no call responsibilities associated with this position.
  • The anticipated patient volume is approximately 20 patients per day.
  • The clinic operates with a staffing mix that includes 4 front desk personnel, 3 Medical Assistants, and potentially 2 Advanced Practice Providers.
