We are seeking a Board Certified Hospitalist for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in Washington. This opportunity starts on Jan 31, 2026, and includes 24-hour on-site shifts with a mix of 12-15 hour day shifts plus night call. The assignment involves working in a critical access hospital with a trauma center and ICU beds, providing comprehensive hospitalist care and responding to inpatient codes.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide hospitalist services, including admissions and rounding for a facility
  • Manage an average daily census of patients
  • Deliver care in a trauma setting with ICU beds
  • Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests
  • Respond to all inpatient codes and provide 24/7 call coverage
  • Perform emergent intubations (preferred)


Additional Information

  • Must be Board Certified in Hospital Medicine
  • Current Washington license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience; no new graduates
