We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Virginia starting Nov 3, 2025. This 120-day opportunity offers a 7a-7p schedule and requires a current state license, board certification in Hospital Medicine, and active DEA. Physicians with certifications in ATLS, ACLS, and PALS are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive hospitalist care to admitted patients
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in an inpatient setting
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
  • Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed


Additional Information

  • Must have an active Virginia medical license, DEA, and board certification in Hospital Medicine
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Preeclampsia Certificate
  • ABPS is not accepted
