Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient care during night shifts
  • Perform various medical procedures as needed, including thoracentesis, central line placement, arterial line insertion, lumbar puncture, and NG/OG tube placement
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, with a focus on:
  • Sepsis and bacteremia
  • Pneumonia (CAP, HCAP, aspiration)
  • Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) exacerbation
  • Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) and chronic kidney disease
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Participate in patient rounds and handoffs as required
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
