Job Description

We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Sep 1, 2025, for 120 days. The schedule includes a mix of day and nocturnist shifts, with hours ranging from 07:00 to 19:00, 13:00 to 17:00, and 19:00 to 07:00 on select dates. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified physician specializing in hospital medicine to provide care in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient care as a Hospitalist
  • Manage admissions, rounds, and discharges for hospitalized patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Respond to acute changes in patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards


Additional Information

  • Active Ohio medical license, DEA, and ACLS required
  • Must be ABIM certified within the last 5 years of residency
  • Completion of Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency required
  • 24 months of case logs, driver’s license, Social Security card, professional photo, and TB test results required
