Job Description

We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Mississippi, beginning Jan 5, 2026, for a 36-day contract. This is an excellent opportunity for board-certified internal medicine or family medicine doctors to provide inpatient care. Schedule and shift hours will be provided.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient care as a Hospitalist
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient management
• Utilize evidence-based protocols and best practices in internal medicine or family medicine
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

Additional Information

• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-approved residency training program in internal medicine or family medicine required
• Must possess an active Mississippi medical license
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
