This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, and offers day shifts with two physicians and night shifts covered by one nurse practitioner or physician assistant with telemedicine support. The ideal candidate will be proficient in running codes, rapid responses, and performing key procedures such as central lines, intubations, and arterial lines, with training and proctoring available as needed.

Schedule: Day shift (7am-7pm) with two physicians; Night shift (7pm-7am) with one nurse practitioner or physician assistant with telemedicine backup
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide inpatient hospital medicine coverage as a Hospitalist
Run codes and respond to rapid response situations
Perform procedures including central lines, intubations, and arterial lines (training and proctoring available)
Manage ventilators (training available)
Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants during night shifts
Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital protocols
Additional Information
Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required
Must hold an active Michigan medical license
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
Board certification in Hospital Medicine preferred
