Physician - Hospitalist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician for a 5-day assignment starting Aug 6, 2026, in Kentucky. Our client needs coverage for their critical access hospital medical unit, with a schedule of 8a-5p followed by night call coverage. The role involves managing a range of common conditions, including abdominal pain, broken bones, heart attack symptoms, and stroke symptoms.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide medical unit coverage at a critical access hospital
• Manage patients presenting with common conditions such as abdominal pain, broken bones, and deep bites or puncture wounds
• Respond to and treat patients with heart attack symptoms, burns, and stroke symptoms
