Physician - Hospitalist

Job Description

We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a 6-day assignment in Alaska. This role entails 12-hour night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM, with potential for future day or night shifts. The Physician will be responsible for rounding, admissions, and managing both medical-surgical and ICU patients, with preferred skills in vent management, intubation, and central line insertions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform rounding and admissions for both medical-surgical and ICU patients
• Manage a diverse patient population including adults
• Administer preferred procedures such as vent management, intubation, and central line insertions

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Hospital Medicine required
• EMR: Epic
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Setting: Inpatient
• No Call required
• Average 10 patients per day
• LOA: 6 Days
• Staffing Mix: Provider works solo
