Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver hospitalist care for inpatient populations
Conduct patient assessments and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
Document all patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR
Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and state/federal regulations
Complete required annual CME, including 8 hours in Stroke and 8 hours in Trauma
Additional Information
Active Texas State Nurse Practitioner and RN licenses required
DEA registration with Texas address
Board Certification in Family Practice (AANP or ANCC)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Recent CME and case logs for the past 2 years must be provided
Immunization records (TB, Flu, Hep B, MMR, Varicella) required
In-person EMR training must be completed prior to first shift
Must submit copies of all diplomas, photo ID, and social security card
