Job Description

We are seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for an 11-day locum tenens assignment starting on Aug 5, 2025, in Nebraska. This role involves 24-hour solo coverage at a rural hospital, including 12-15 hours of active work with the rest on call, supported by sleeping amenities on-site or nearby. The successful candidate will manage a range of duties autonomously and must be comfortable performing procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide full range of hospitalist services and manage patient care autonomously.
  • Perform various medical procedures as required.
  • Ensure continuous care during the assigned shifts, including on-call responsibilities.
  • Utilize Meditech EHR for documentation and management of patient records.
  • Maintain high standards of care and adhere to all hospital protocols.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine with Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine required.
  • Must hold a valid Nebraska medical license.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are essential.
  • Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience working autonomously.
