Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Dec 1, 2025. This role offers both day (7a-7p) and night (7p-7a) shifts, working alongside physician and telemedicine backup in a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Run codes and rapid responses with physician backup
  • Perform procedures, including central lines, intubations, and arterial lines (training available) with physician backup
  • Manage ventilators (training available)
  • Deliver hospital medicine services as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with physicians and telemedicine support
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care


Additional Information

  • Certification required: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with hospitalist experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Must be board certified in Hospital Medicine
  • Active Michigan license required
