Job Description

We are seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity features swing shifts from 3 PM to 3 AM and involves working within a diverse, collaborative hospitalist team caring for both adult and pediatric patients. Candidates with Acute Care, Family, or Physician Assistant certification and relevant hospitalist experience are encouraged to apply.


Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate within a team of Internal Medicine/Family Medicine and Med/Peds Hospitalists to deliver care to both adult and pediatric patients
  • Provide care for high acuity patients in the step-down unit
  • Run codes and rapid responses
  • No procedures required


Additional Information

  • Certification required: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA); Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with hospitalist experience accepted
  • Must hold current Michigan license
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Board certification in Hospital Medicine required
