Job Description
Our client in Pennsylvania seeks a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 60-day assignment commencing Sep 1, 2026. In this role, you will manage approximately 15 outpatients per day in a clinic setting, providing essential care and supervising Advanced Practice Providers. The assignment focuses on direct patient care with structured encounter times for both new and follow-up appointments.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage approximately 15 outpatients daily in a clinic environment.
- Provide supervision for Advanced Practice Providers.
- Handle a maximum of 15 personal patients per day, in addition to APP supervision.
- Conduct initial patient encounters lasting 60 minutes.
- Allocate 30 minutes for follow-up patient encounters.
- See an average of 2 new patients per day.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Hematology is required.
- Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred.
