Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania starting Feb 23, 2026. This full-time opportunity features day shifts Monday through Friday with a 1:3 call rotation, including both phone and in-person hospital consults. Candidates must be able to supervise advanced practice providers and handle a diverse patient caseload in both clinic and hospital settings.


Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; call rotation 1:3, covering one full week at a time (phone and in-person hospital consults)


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage up to 15 patients per day, including 2 new patient consults daily
  • Conduct 60-minute encounters for new patients and 30-minute follow-ups
  • Provide supervision for advanced practice providers
  • Perform hospital-based consults for hematology and oncology cases
  • Participate in a 1:3 call schedule, covering call for one week at a time
  • Deliver comprehensive care to hematology and oncology patients


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Medical Oncology (Hematology/Oncology)
  • Active Pennsylvania license highly preferred; will consider candidates needing to obtain a license or holding IMLC
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and CSR license required
  • Ability to commit to full-time work for the full duration of the assignment
  • Candidates must be able to take call in addition to regular day shifts
