Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This opportunity begins Mar 2, 2026, with day shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The assignment focuses on both hematology and oncology cases, with participation in a tumor board and management of bone marrow transplant procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage VAD/CV catheters
  • Perform bone marrow biopsies
  • Participate on a tumor board
  • Oversee bone marrow transplant management
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests
  • Utilize blood bank services as appropriate
  • Order diagnostic imaging
  • Prescribe medications and therapies
  • Administer chemotherapy in collaboration with nursing staff


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required (AMBS/AOA)
  • Active Indiana state license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • 50% hematology and 50% oncology case mix
  • Locum tenens assignment
