Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist

Job Description

Our client in Iowa is seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist for a 30-day assignment starting Jun 8, 2026. This Physician will provide essential medical hematology/oncology coverage 4 to 5 days per week, working 8a-4p, and will include inpatient coverage at both sites. Key responsibilities encompass patient assessments, developing new and ongoing treatment plans, managing chemotherapy, and providing comprehensive end of life care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct patient assessments
• Develop new treatment plans
• Manage ongoing treatment plans and therapy changes
• Provide referrals for ancillary services
• Deliver end of life care
• Oversee chemotherapy management
• Provide inpatient coverage at both sites
