Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Gynecological Urology for a locum tenens assignment with our client in Arizona, commencing Apr 12, 2026. This role involves a full-time schedule of standard day shifts, with flexibility for coverage two weeks per month, requiring the Physician to manage approximately 20 patients daily in clinic, perform 10-15 procedures weekly, and complete 3-4 surgeries each day.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care as a Gynecological Urologist in a hospital setting.
  • Collaborate with a Physician Assistant; no other MDs on staff, with Medical Assistants assigned to support operations.
  • Manage a daily caseload of approximately 20 patients in the clinic.
  • Perform 10-15 procedures per week.
  • Conduct 3-4 surgeries per day in the operating room.
  • Undertake special procedures, including in-clinic vasectomy. Infant circumcision outpatient is not a required duty.
  • Utilize disposable flexible stethoscopes during patient care.


Additional Information

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology required.
  • An active Arizona medical license or IMLC is required.
  • DEA registration is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
  • Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days.
  • The Electronic Medical Record system in use is Cerner.
  • Robotics are not available for this assignment.
