Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Surgeon for a 3-day locum tenens assignment in Alabama, commencing Oct 9, 2026. The Physician will provide continuous coverage, starting at 7am on Oct 9 and concluding at 7am on Oct 11, focusing on inpatient consults and emergency room coverage, including rounding on existing patients. This role primarily involves general surgery duties with no clinic responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide general surgery services.
• Cover inpatient consults.
• Respond to emergency room cases.
• Conduct rounding on inpatient consults.
• Exclusively focus on inpatient and ER care; no clinic coverage is required.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Surgery is required.
• EMR System: Cerner.
