Physician - General Diagnostic Radiology with Mammography

Job Description

Our client in Pennsylvania is seeking a skilled Physician specializing in General Diagnostic Radiology with Mammography for a 60-day assignment. The physician will work a Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. This role requires a commitment of at least two weeks per month, involving comprehensive breast imaging services, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, contrast-enhanced mammography, and various image-guided breast procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive breast imaging services
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography
• Conduct breast ultrasound and breast MRI examinations
• Offer contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM)
• Execute image-guided breast procedures
• Perform stereotactic and tomosynthesis-guided breast biopsies
• Conduct ultrasound-guided and MRI-guided breast biopsies
• Perform image-guided breast needle localizations

• Board Certifications: Diagnostic Radiology

• Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patients per day: Variable, depending on screening, diagnostic, and procedural volumes
• LOA: 60 Days
• Staffing Mix: Mammography and ultrasound technologists, breast imaging navigators, LPNs, and RNs
