Job Description

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a 56-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois, starting Sep 1, 2025. This role involves primarily performing procedures in a GI lab, with additional patient care in a clinic and inpatient rounding. The schedule includes day shifts, Monday through Friday, with overnight weekday call coverage required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform procedures primarily in the GI lab
  • See patients in the clinic setting
  • Round on inpatients as needed

Additional Information

  • Must be board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Illinois state license required
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • DEA and CSR licenses required
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system
  • Minimum of 1 year experience required
  • Must commit to a minimum of 2 weeks per month availability
