Our client in Iowa is actively seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 90-day assignment beginning Mar 22, 2026. This vital role involves managing 7p - 7a and 7a - 7p shifts, where you will oversee the labor and delivery unit, triage patients, perform deliveries, and manage high and low-risk obstetric evaluations, emergencies, and urgent gynecological consultations and surgeries.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee the Labor and Delivery unit and triage patients
- Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Manage high and low-risk obstetric evaluations and emergencies
- Handle urgent gynecological consultations and surgeries
- Provide education and mentoring for residents and staff
- Assist OB/GYN peers in complex surgical cases as needed
