Physician - Gastroenterology - Advanced [EUS/ERCP]

Job Description

Our client in Georgia seeks an Advanced Gastroenterologist for a 120-day assignment starting Nov 1, 2026. The schedule involves working from 8a to 5p with call responsibilities, focusing on a comprehensive range of gastrointestinal procedures including upper and lower endoscopies, ERCP, EUS, and liver biopsies.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeders, and varix injection
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP, including PEG procedures
• Perform esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpret results
• Perform small bowel biopsies
• Conduct lower GI endoscopy, including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
• Perform colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
• Utilize endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
• Perform liver biopsies
• Insert and manage Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes

Additional Information

• Board certification in Gastroenterology is required
• EMR: Epic
• Call is required as part of the schedule
